He failed in fulfilling his duty and failed us miserably for trusting in him. I chose Kanzlei Klaus after checking the reviews. There are couple of very bad reviews about communication, particularly in tenancy law cases, as in my case, but I was bold, I still tried. Had to pay considerably for that bad decision. Maybe, such cases – tenancy law – are not worth of his time for Mr. Klaus? He could have communicated it clearly, but taking our case, giving us hope and then ignoring our calls (after sending us an invoice) – it is not professional, not trustworthy. The invoicing was very fast. The very next day, after the first consultation appointment, I received the invoice in my post box. It is not bad. But the case is not over yet...or maybe, it is Mr. Klaus’ way of saying ‘I do not fight your case, I’m done here’...?? He could have said it clearly. We spoke to each other in English because my German is not fluent. He spoke to my wife in German, she is native German speaker. So, there is no misunderstanding. He clearly asked us to follow his advice, and contact him whatever is the result, good or bad. We were under stress, but after talking to Mr. Klaus, we felt better. We had hope – the lawyer would protect our right. But his advice failed...it angered our landlord; he asked us to vacate. We were frightened. We called Mr. Klaus immediately. No answer. Tried again next day, his assistant told us he would call us back. We waited two more days. No call. We called again. This time another assistant. Same story. We waited one more week this time. No call. We called again. His assistant answered again...she noticed my frustration, but can’t help, because she can’t see his calendar, and so can’t tell us when he can call us or when he is reachable. We waited a few more weeks. Futile. Even when I was in important meetings at work, I set my phone in loud mode, so that I don’t miss any call from Mr. Klaus. Meanwhile, the heating system stopped working in the apartment. We have a small kind. This whole thing was causing us too much stress. Long story, but we came to a compromise with the landlord ourselves. We gave up on our right, paid where we should not have paid anything. It has been more than three months now, no call from Mr. Klaus or his assistants. I hope they are doing fine. I wonder how Kanzlei Klaus organize their communication with the clients. Do they note down that so and so client called, and there is a need to call the client back? Or is it like, it doesn’t matter, the clients would try again and again until they get lucky? Anyway, I hope you are doing fine Mr. Klaus and we do not have to deal with each other again.
