Die Spezerei is a small Restaurant at the Wöhrstraße 1. It looks very old from inside making it a cozy place for some real german food. As a foreigner I always go for Schäuferla, but friends told me the rest tastes great as well. I think this is the best place to become Schäuferla in Erlangen throughout the year!

Die Spezerei has 8 tables (could be 1 more or less) so if you want to be sure to get place you should call if a table is available. Service is great and if you have special wishes they always try to help you. There are also in for a chat and will take a seat at your table which makes Die Spezerei a very nice place. I can highly recommend this place :)

Little WMF Store ( there is another small one in the Erlangen Arcaden with a bit different assortment ) where personnel is really informative. I've bought a frying pan after being informed what i should buy. Later it somehow got scratches and returned it. 2 weeks later I got a new pan without asking questions what happened. That's what I call good service.

Subway offers nice (and healthy) sandwiches at the main railway station. It's nice to have the freedom to choose what bread, toasted or not-toasted and all byproducts that should make your custom sandwich. But for the price the sandwich looks a bit thin. In Australia the are much bigger and cheaper at the same time. If you are waiting for the train it doesn't hurt to buy a sandwich over here.

Konsum is a supermarkt in the basement of the Erlangen Arcaden. Only difference with this Supermarkt compared to others is the price. And in a negative way. It's way to expensive over there. Lately they closed the butcher over there because nobody was buying their products. Only if your in great need and other supermarkets are too far away you can buy at Konsum.

Nanu Nana is a store where you buy little presents for friends. It's a lot in common with Butlers. Only Nanu Nana is a lot smaller fully packed with things you don't really want to buy. But if you're complete out of inspiration you can buy something there for a friend as a joke. The glasswork is actually not bad for the priceticket it has.

A huge Marktkauf giving you everything you need. If you can't find the product you're looking for it's because it's so big. It reminds me a bit of the Mammoth and Auchan in France. Convenient is the Tankstation near the Marktkauf finish 2 items of your to-do list. The store is clean and customer service is what you expect from a premium Supermarket.

Hunger und Durst is located north of Nürnberg and offers meat for men :) The Restaurant looks very stylish. The HuDu Burger is super tasty and fills your stomach pretty well. But don't go with a big group there, because they won't manage it and give couples or small groups their food first, which is pretty frustrating.

Fenestra offers nice glass objects. I found them to be the perfect presents for elder people. The colourful glass looks great and everything is handmade which makes it more attractive. Quality of the products is very good for as far I know, nothing is broken or damaged at the moment. Customer Service is good as well taking personal wishes in account.

DM-Markt is a big drugstore in the Erlangen Arcaden. It offers all the brands, but has also it's own brand that gives you great quality for a little price. I buy a lot here because it saves quiet some money. The stores looks always clean and offering customers water is a big plus. DM always have actions that make you come back here.
